Nutritional therapy
Food is central to several aspects of our life; physical, psychological and emotional. Our food choices are a source of nourishment to every cell, bone and organ in our body. There are many reasons why food becomes a source of distress rather than pleasure.Ros has had two years clinical experience working in dietary management of patients with Cancer, Crohn’s and Parkinson’s disease. In addition she has worked with many patients suffering from food intolerances.
For some people the reaction to individual foods, or food combinations, results in identifiable symptoms e.g. irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), nasal congestion, eczema or asthma. For others, the lack of visible symptoms may not be taken seriously by observers causing, frustration and psychological stress.
The ultimate aim in managing and living with food sensitivity is the detection and elimination of the specific antagonistic foods, and the formation of a nutritionally sound diet for optimal health. Regaining wellness more than justifies the time and efforts involved in resolving food sensitivities.
